For the first time ever, Focal Point will take place virtually, so you can tune in from anywhere in the world!

Please note that, if it’s possible by October, we will find a way to incorporate some regional in-person meet-ups within the larger virtual gathering (as permitted by local health and safety guidelines).

We are excited about the many opportunities that are opened to us in an online space, including:

  • One-on-one and group networking opportunities
  • Q&A sessions with keynote speakers and other experts from the field
  • Intimate breakout groups to share and gain inspiration from one another
  • Pre-recorded sessions that you can watch at your own convenience
  • Unconstrained by physical space, more attendees from around the world will be able participate, especially those who couldn’t join us in the past

And much more!

We are excited to include attendees from across the globe. In order to take into account the various time zones, we will offer approximately 4-5 hours a day of a live global gathering. We will supplement live sessions with pre-recorded materials that we will encourage you to watch in your own time as well as individualized and group networking at your own convenience during the course of the two days.

The live gathering will take place 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EDT / 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM UK / 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Israel. We will also offer regional meet-ups (either virtually or in person) on October 14 in the afternoon (US) / October 15 in the morning (Europe & Israel).

We are asking attendees to commit to a holistic experience of learning, sharing, and connecting over two days, so please reserve your schedule on October 14 and 15, 2020 for your full participation.

Focal Point is open to anyone passionate about engaging the Jewish community in international development, global service, and humanitarian aid. We hope to see a diverse group of practitioners, Jewish communal professionals, funders, rabbis, and more! Organizations are encouraged to register any and all relevant staff.

Registration closes on Wednesday, September 30.
