Eliran Douenias is the Director of Operations and East Africa Director at JDC. He is responsible for JDC’s disaster response programs globally and for overseeing JDC's work in Ethiopia. In his previous role with JDC, he was leading the establishment of Tikkun Olam Ventures (TOV), an innovative program addressing poverty among Africa’s smallholder farmers by leveraging Israeli agricultural technology and training, philanthropy and private capital, and access to new markets for crops. Eliran was born in Israel and lives in Tel Aviv.
