Deborah Kolben is the Editorial Director at 70 Faces Media, the parent company to The Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Kveller, Alma, The Nosher, My Jewish Learning, and the New York Jewish Week. In those roles, she oversees content and brand strategy and works to develop new ways to connect with users through video, podcasts, and written text. Previously, Deborah was the city editor of The New York Sun, the managing editor of the Village Voice, and a reporter at the New York Daily News and the Brooklyn Papers. She received a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University and received an Arthur F. Burns fellowship to report in Germany. Deborah has written for The New York Times, Financial Times, and The Forward. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
