Lisa Issroff and her husband, David, co-founded the Issroff Family Foundation in 2007 to partner with and support early-stage leaders of community-based organizations to improve outcomes for children, youth, and their communities. As IFF’s Executive Director, Lisa is particularly interested in providing funding, capacity-strengthening, and advisory support to early-stage organizations engaged with empowering youth in Eastern and Southern Africa. 

Building on her experience working with these organizations and firm belief in the value of community, Lisa is also focused on building an African funder network in the New York area, the Tristate Area Africa Funders Network, and a network comprised of cohorts of extraordinary young women leaders in the social sector, called WeareWISE. Lisa serves on several of the boards of IFF’s partner organizations.
