Rabbi Yedidya (Julian) Sinclair has served as campus rabbi at Cambridge University and Senior Rabbinical Scholar at Hazon. From 2011-16, he was Vice President and Senior Economist at Energiya Global, an Israeli company developing large solar energy projects in Africa. He currently consults on environmental and social compliance for infrastructure projects in the developing world. Yedidya holds degrees from Oxford and Harvard Universities and lives with his family in Jerusalem. His book, "The Sabbath of the Land: Selections from Rav Kook’s Shabbat HaAretz and Contemporary Reflections on Renewing Shemitta," will be published by Maggid Books in September 2022.
