Gina Flash is the Founder and Executive Director of Mensch, a Jewish South African community organization and umbrella social change network. Mensch works to increase the impact Jewish individuals, organizations, and communities have in positively transforming and uplifting the lives of the poor and needy in South Africa.

For the past 7 years Gina has driven the organization’s strategy and operations, facilitating the vibrant Mensch Network – a network of more than 120 Jewish social entrepreneurs and social development professionals around South Africa, and creating social action, awareness events to engage the Jewish community in sustainable change.

Gina has 10 years of professional experience in the Jewish nonprofit sector in South Africa, with a special interest in empowering the Jewish community to create systemic positive change in communities disadvantaged by the legacy of apartheid. Gina previously was the Communications and Social Change Manager at the Cape Town SA Jewish Board of Deputies. She holds a degree in Communication Design and is an alum of the Schusterman Jewish Leaders Fellowship.
