Adam Azari is the founder and head of the Jewish Effective Giving Initiative, a new project of the World Union for Progressive Judaism created to inspire rabbis and Jewish leaders to save lives by introducing their communities to some of the world's most effective life-saving charities.

Adam grew up at the Beit Daniel congregation in Tel Aviv, and he holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. In the past, he has worked as an editor, a teacher, and a caretaker for mentally disabled people.
